Hey GoodFellas!

I can see some comments scribbled over our official hostel scrap-book ;-) from some chess enthusiast.

Just curious if we have a quality chessboard available as our indoor sports facility??

In fact, when I asked the Guard-on-duty (Guard-Sahib) regarding the chess board, one has offered me a "TT ball" once & other one a "badminton shuttle" :-)

But, I can recall playing with one (good quality board + pieces) sometime back; not sure if it was owned by the hostel or some individual.

1. Make snacks available at night for we often stretch late night.
2. Drainage of bathrooms need to be improved.
3. We require more stands for drying our clothes
4. Gysers of most of the bathrooms are not working only one is working.(na 02 is virtually of no use)
5. Sweepers often smoke in the corridors which is a big problem for our health.

I rajat representing the freshers of satpura hostel. I want to convey this message to the mess secretary that we wish the mess menu to be changed every month. We have been given the menu ever since we came to IIT. We also request you to bring more variety in afternoon meals especially on monday, wed and fri.

Almost all my friends didn't like "white" butter which is in use from last week and I am sure most students have the same opinion. I urge to Mess Secretary to restore earlier butter as soon as possible.......

The next meeting for the HWC is scheduled on Saturday, 12-09-09.

I won't send any more spams to everyone, so all those who want know about the library activities and notifications, please join the Satpura Library Google group at http://groups.google.com/group/satlib09_10 On that group, I have also shared a spreadsheet that has a list of all the books in the library, with their current status.

From now on, the library will be opened once a week every Thursday from 8 30 to 9 pm.
